We had a wonderful Father’s Day weekend, tried some new recipes, and loved all of them; Caramel cake frosting for Nanette Henson’s caramel cake she ordered, fresh peach ice cream with peaches from a roadside farm stand and tonight, fried green tomatoes from our own garden with panko crumb crust. Oh yeah, and Barefoot Contessa’s Tuscan Lemon Chicken, that is to die for!

I hope everyone is enjoying their summer, so far! My girls and I are enjoying my not having to work at night, since going back to a breakfast and lunch establishment 
. In some of my down time this summer, I plan to work more on my Cafe’ Marigold Cookbook! I’m excited to begin this project and know that there is a lot of work ahead of me.
