We had a wonderful Father’s Day weekend, tried some new recipes, and loved all of them; Caramel cake frosting for Nanette Henson’s caramel cake she ordered, fresh peach ice cream with peaches from a roadside farm stand and tonight, fried green tomatoes from our own garden with panko crumb crust. Oh yeah, and Barefoot Contessa’s Tuscan Lemon Chicken, that is to die for!

Summer Time – Yeah!

I hope everyone is enjoying their summer, so far! My girls and I are enjoying my not having to work at night, since going back to a breakfast and lunch establishment . In some of my down time this summer, I plan to work more on my Cafe’ Marigold Cookbook! I’m excited to begin this project and know that there is a lot of work ahead of me.

If anyone has any cooking questions, feel free to send them to me. I enjoy trying to help solve some of your kitchen/recipe dilemmas!
